Infinix Zero 3 was released at the very end of 2015 in Nigeria and came to Pakistan at the beginning of 2016, which makes it around two years old. So it isn’t exactly one of the latest Infinix phones that are reigning the market. However, the smartphone still stands its ground because of some of the decisive features it possesses.

Infinix Zero 3 ReviewsNow that the phone is much more affordable, many will hopefully be opting to try this device. So we think this is the right time to do a review for Infinix Zero 3.

Infinix Zero 3 Review:

We found the shape of this smartphone a little odd, pretty close to a miniscule brick. The device feels stiff and sturdy with a fair chance that single-handed control might prove to be a challenge.

Infinix Zero 3 ScreenFurthermore, it has a 5.5-inch screen that covers the front face perfectly. On the right edge, you will find the sound and the power buttons with an opening for adding SIM cards while on the right there’s an opening for microSD card.

Infinix Zero 3 Gorilla Glass The device is built with a strong metallic casing and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that protects the smartphone from minor falls and hits.

Infinix Zero 3 Design & Display:

The smartphone is 7.1mm thick, making it easier to slip inside your jeans pocket. The back side of this phone is covered with block patterns that provide extra grip for the users. Unlike the traditional way, the company has placed the camera on the very top-left side of the Infinix Zero 3. So if the users try to take a picture single-handedly, they can do so without obstruction. And to match your outfit, the muscular device is available in Gold, Black and Silver colors.

Infinix Zero 3 Design & DisplayThat was all for the design. Now let’s talk about the display of the smartphone. The screen is built using 1K resolution i.e. 1080×1920 pixels, with 401 pixels per inch (PPI) allowing high-definition visuals. It is ideal for late night eBook reading because of the increased pixel density.

In addition, the screen supports up to eight-point multi-touch with the IPS display.

Infinix Zero 3 Memory & OS:

Infinix Zero 3 comes in two variations with built-in memory of 16GB/32GB. However, keeping in mind the need for additional storage, the device supports expandable memory of up to 2TB. This means you can keep all of your data in the device neatly without hassles.

Infinix Zero 3 Memory & OSThe phone is available with pre-installed Android 5.1. The internal RAM of 3GB allows you to upgrade to Android 6.0 if required.

The processor is Octa-core 2.2GHz Cortex A7 CPU by MediaTek Helio X10 Chipset, which is a 64-bit processor providing the possibility of running up to 16 applications simultaneously without experiencing lag. Apart from that, the core has an in-built IMG 6200 GPU with a clock speed of 700MHz for a fluid gaming experience.

Infinix Zero 3 gaming experienceWhile testing the smartphone in a game-play of five minutes, only one frame drop was felt at around three minutes. Watch the review video of Asphalt 8 Game test on Infinix Zero 3 device below.

Infinix Zero 3 Camera:

The smartphone Infinix Zero 3 is available with a 20.7 megapixel back camera and 5 megapixel front camera. We think the major selling point of this device will be its back camera which captures snaps in 4K resolution.

Infinix Zero 3 Camera 4K resolutionThis camera is equipped with a double-flash light that increases the picture quality at night. It also supports features such as HDR smile detection, face detection and f/1.9 aperture.

Infinix Zero 3 CameraThe last feature implies the camera won’t provide a very absorbing picture in low-light. This is the result of the back camera with common LED flash (Left) and double LED flash (right).

Infinix Zero 3 Camera On the other hand, the front camera is a big disappointment at 5 megapixels. So you won’t get a very good selfie photo with it. It’ll be reasonable but not as good as expected from a hi-tech phone.

Infinix Zero 3 Battery:

Infinix Zero 3 is available with a non-removable Li-Ion 3030 mAh battery. Luckily, the smartphone supports quick charge feature so you won’t miss much of the fun.

Infinix Zero 3 BatteryThe device can operate optimally for a day (18-20 hours) before it runs out of juice. It can, however, provide a music playback of up to 50 hours.

If you are looking for a device that provides high-quality pictures and is impeccable with all sorts of games, then this device is for you. However, if you are one of the power users who can’t afford to stay away from their smartphones, you might experience some disappointment when the phone battery gets depleted.

Despite this, Infinix Zero 3 is not a bad bargain for the features included in the device, especially the back camera. In comparison, even entry-level Samsung Smartphones are priced higher than this.
